Carry Accessories

For planes, trains and trails, we need accessories that work for us. Here's my curated list of accessories you should know about.

Pouches & Organizers

The right internal organization makes the days move easy. Here’s my favorite organizers + pouches. Watch the vid.
Bellroy Tech Kit. Elegant. Super capable. It's like a compact everything holder. 
Peak Design Tech Pouch. So organized!
Evergoods Tech Pouch. Amazing piece of kit. Organized and easy to access. Now available in multiple sizes.
Black Ember's Boarding Kit is excellent for a "one and done" carry all. Fits my big headphones.
Minaal Toolcase. Thinner than most here, but with a protective outer layer; super solid.
Peak Design's smaller tech pouch. Excellent!
Pioneer Carry Global Tech Pouch. Tight. Nice materials. Goldilocks.
Air Pro Kit. Another goldilocks size tight tech pouch.
Bellroy Classic Pouch. Elegant. Playful. Organized. Lots of colors. Very classy number.
Dayfarer Tech Pouch. Thin. Flat. Solid.
Boundary Supply tech kit.
Tom Bihn Pouches. Lots of shapes, sizes, colors.

Wallets & Phone cases

In-pocket essentials move with us. Design, materials, size and format all make meaningful differences day to day.
Bellroy Cases. 3-card and folios. Patinas well. 3 cards + a sim. My daily driver.
  • Bellroy Cases — very nice feeling designs. Patina well. Folios (cover flaps make camera use funky) and 3-card case (my daily driver).
  • Mous Cases — Extremely strong magnets on their phone case and wallet combo. 
  • Nomad Goods Cases — Folio (cover flap) with MagSafe is unique (3 card slots and a cash slot).
Bellroy Note Sleeve

Minimal fold wallets:

  • Bellroy Fold Wallets — Note Sleeve, Hide & Seek, Slim Sleeve + other models. Cannot overstate how considered the design and how nice the materials feel and patina.  
  • All-Ett Original — minimal pocket thickness (depth), but larger footprint (height + width). However, always fit in my pockets like a glove. USA built. I used a leather one for years, loved it.

Everyday Tech

Leatherman PS Style. Useful. TSA approved so it won't get taken when you forget you have it.
Roost Laptop Stand. Travellable.Throw it in a bag. Better than others.
A good USB battery. Small. Breakfast top-up.
Tribit Mini Speaker. Surprisingly useful for upping the background music vibes.

These are the only water bottles anyone needs. #tested
Basically the best. Perfect lid. Multiple sizes. Super duty.
Owala Bottle. Insulated, lockable lid, fits in cupholders upside down.
Memo flat water bottles. Plastic. Available in multiple sizes. Great for slipping inside a bag.
