The Arris from Boundary Supply boasts durable, sleek materials, sophisticated design and a badass harness system.
Clean, like a military duffel in olive. Super low key branding. Handles all over (side handles usable for luggage pass through).
Scuff proof, weather protected external shell. High tenacity 400d nylon, seam taped, boundary’s LC1 weather resistant coating. Lightweight material, but excellent performance, if a little krinkly sounding.
Satisfactory external access. Water bottle pocket is deep and stylish. Top medium sized pocket is excellent for throwing all the things you need to access on the go, if a little hand-scrapey on the access. Front flat pocket is a fiddly to get into as well, but another good place for stashing stuff you may need on the go. Also a side-access zip to the main compartment. (Looks like you can use their camera cubes with this bag, but I haven’t tried yet.)
Seriously righteous harness system. Adjustable for different torso sizes. Great padding. Rigid back (carbon fiber!?) panel to help distribute the weight. Waist belt removable. Big ass magnetic clasp for storable sternum strap. Stowable-ish straps for check-in. Perfect EVA foam, load lifters.
Clamshell opening. 35L on front-side, mesh organizer panel divider with easy one hand pull to open.
Extremely solid travel bag from some bag wizards. Beautiful design; techy, sophisticated, mostly unpretentious. Gonna last a long time.
