The Model A from Huru boasts solid materials, a 5+ liter expansion feature and TONS of external access. (Though I think the looks kinda suffer with all the pouches.)
- tons of external access
- solid materials
- expandable for larger loads
- looks sleek (and pouchy)
Tons of external pouches on this sucker.
The zippered side access means you can get into your main compartment without unbuckling and flipping the top flap.
I really like the feel and performance of the Cordura material they’re using. Feels like something around 400-500D. Picks up some lint.
Straps are great feeling. Old-school dual channel padding like the old Jansports, but this padding and external material is much nicer.
This is an interesting feature for minimal travelers. Works pretty well. Means you can shove a packing cube way down to the bottom of the bag.
Main capacity is somewhat minimal without the expansion. Feels like maybe 3-4 wool sweaters when un-expanded.
Not suspended off the bottom of the bag, but there’s a decent frame sheet and padding helping protect the corners. Easy to get the laptop in and out of.
Tons of pouches and pockets all over this thing. External access junkies rejoice!
YKK water-sealed zips, nice zip pulls. Thing’s pretty damn good in use.
