Matador 24L Adventure Pack Review
"Backcountry Boardroom"
An epic everyday rambler from Matador’s all-new lineup. Top loader with a clamshell when you need it, laptop and hydration ready, and wider, sturdier straps than bags twice its size. Killer hiking day bag, killer personal item, killer everyday carry.
More on the Matador 24L Adventure Pack
What I like
- An epic hiking pack from a rad company. I don't want just an Osprey pack, I want this
- Top loads at an angle, which feels really good, and it opens clamshell when you need it
- Quick access you can reach from the top and from inside
- Laptop sits right against your back, and there's a hydration pass-through for a water bladder
- Wider, more structured, firmer straps than Matador's travel packs. Big beefy straps for a bag this size
- Great mesh, padding and breathability on the back
- Smuggler's pocket under the luggage pass-through
- Compression straps and clip-on points, so you can strap a cooler or long stuff outside instead of smushing it in
- Great water bottle pockets
- Admin pocket with one long zip, and a front pocket that runs all the way to the bottom of the bag
- A killer hiking day bag, a killer personal item for travel, a great everyday rambler
Watch for
- Less techy than a laptop bag. Think hiking day bag first
