Oros Atmos Hoodie Review
"Space-Age Warmth"
The hoodie that actually handles serious weather. SolarCore aerogel insulation, thin and seriously warm. I haven’t taken it off since the weather got cooler.
More on the Oros Atmos Hoodie
What I like
- SolarCore aerogel insulation in panels down the body and arms and up into the hood. It's a hoodie that performs like a parka.
- It makes a bubble of your own body temperature. Less sweaty than down when it warms up, seriously warm when it's cold.
- An open strip between the back and front panels, for breathability.
- Funnel collar. You just look cool.
- Soft, ruffled lining. I wear it barechested more than I'd care to admit.
- Little details that still delight months in. Paracord zip pull with heat shrink, reverse coil zips, minimal logo.
- Haven't taken it off since the weather got cooler.
Watch for
- Heavy and dense. It does not fold down into a bag. You're strapping it to the outside.
- I haven't tested it in rain. Honestly scared of staining it.
- Not cheap.
