HOLY SH*T this thing is light. At around 2 pounds, it completely changes how a travel backpack feels in use. The Ultra fabric is dreamy, the organization stays simple, and 34L hits a sweet spot between travel bag and daily carry.

The Bolt Backpack from Waterfield Designs is a damn classy bag. If I was playing the "raise money" game in the bay area, this is the direction I would go.

Peak Design finally built a camera backpack I'd actually want to hike with. The new harness is dramatically more comfortable, the roll-top and rear access work beautifully together, and it's noticeably lighter than their previous designs. INSANELY COMFORTABLE. It's a different vibe, but if you resonate with it, commit and be done.

Surprisingly nice to pack with a zip-front panel and one large cavity to fill. Good warranty.

Expandable. Can actually fit more than others due to rad design.

The Forge from Black Ember is a convertible backpack-briefcase-messenger with expandability from 20-30L.

The Pro Executive Backpack from Waterfield Designs is an exceedingly great bag for any of you business-y type people out there. Whoooo doggie.

A very functional eco-friendly bag, the Wayks One expands and compresses into multiple different functions, making it a great bag for daily and travel use.

The ATD1 is an expandable backpack you can use for both travel and daily carry. Looks pretty damn good too. One of the best in this category for sure.

The Axiom pack from Triple Aught Design is a stealthy, rugged, super thoughtful daily carry that can handle heavy duty organization and bad weather.

This is the bag that started it all for me. The Carry On backpack from Minaal is one of the professional traveler's best friends with its sleek design, killer materials and medium sized capacity for minimal travel.
