"Unbreakable Essential"
The Conceal Pack from Brown Buffalo is built like a tank with a minimal, sleek silhouette.
It’s built insanely well from some killer materials. This thing is going to last you FOREVER. But it’s also super stylish, giving off that kind of indie street look.
There’s also some decent organization inside and it’s been updated over the years on feedback, so it keeps getting better.
It’s a simple bag, but I don’t think I’ll ever part with this one.

What I like
- Built like a tank. Handmade in Southern California by Douglas, a bag veteran who's designed for big outdoor brands.
- The iconic bullet shape, with a big YKK #10 AquaGuard zip that goes all the way around.
- Some of my favorite stylish straps in the game. Contoured, and refined over the years from feedback.
- Velcro back panel with a removable laptop and tablet sleeve.
- Double-layer Cordura water bottle pockets and a firm mesh top pocket.
- Clean black-on-black look that works for the office.
- I'd pick it over a GR1 because it has a bit more organization.
Watch for
- The material is so thick it makes it a heavy bag.
- The front is just a flat vertical pocket. Add a long, thin tech pouch.
- No real quick access pocket besides that front pocket.
- On the 19L the laptop sleeve doesn't fit a 15". I put mine in the main compartment.

- The v3 I reviewed came in 19L and 26L.
- 210D recycled nylon with UHMWPE ripstop grid, DWR with PU backing, Velcro loop panels, Hypalon latch points.
