Fyro Citta Backpack (18L + 25L) Review
"Better Than Fine"
The ultimate everyday backpack upgrade. This is the bag for the guy whose current bag is fine and who deserves better than fine.
Comes in 18L and 25L.
More on the Fyro Citta Backpack (18L + 25L)
What I like
- Clean. No loud logos, just a little black-on-black clip. If you like Aer or Evergoods you're in the ballpark, but more boutique.
- Stands up on its own every time without a boxy frame. Huge at the cafe.
- The 18L is 330D Cordura, the 25L is VX42 X-Pac. Both weather and abrasion resistant. The Cordura picks up more patina, which I like.
- Uncoated YKK zips. Coated zips are usually the first thing to go.
- The back panel is soft, pillowy EVA with a neoprene wetsuit-style surface. You grab a bag by the strap a hundred times a day and you notice this.
- Laptop protection better than most. Padded on all sides, taut, lifted off the bottom.
- Microfiber-lined quick access up top. A tall back-panel pocket for passport, wallet, and the battery you forget about until your phone's dying.
- Stretch mesh water bottle pocket with a clip. Gobbles my big Yeti.
- Clamshell main compartment, but I usually just zip it partway and grab my tech pouch.
Watch for
- No front pockets. Clean look, but all your access is top, side and back.
- Double zips almost everywhere. A lot of zippers to manage. I'd want bigger or different colored pulls on the main compartment.
- The 18L is tight and only fits a 14" laptop. I'm a 25L guy for room to grow, but the 18 is fascinating if you know exactly what you carry.
- Not sure yet how the neoprene back panel ages over years.
Specs
- 18L (330D Cordura) and 25L (VX42 X-Pac), about 2.5 lb
- Uncoated YKK zips, 14" laptop in the 18L, bigger in the 25L

Sleek AF.One that I've gone to again and again. Super unique shape, both clean and utilitarian in style, but the way it's laid out makes it really satisfying to use day to day. Great access and organization without the bag ever feeling busy.
