What I like
- The only luggage I've seen that locks its wheels. Surprisingly useful on an airport tram or uneven ground
- Hinomoto ball-bearing wheels, super smooth
- Ripstop nylon liner (bluesign) feels better than most luggage. The liner separates the good stuff from the rest
- Puncture-resistant zipper
- Triangular trolley system with maybe slightly less jiggle
- Durable polycarbonate shell with a nice gradient on the edge and lots of reinforcement at the bottom
- About 8.4 lb on my scale, right in the sweet spot
- I took it on a real trip to Mexico and it worked like you'd expect
Watch for
- Two equal-size buckets, not one big bucket
- The handle doesn't speak to me, though it feels like it'll last forever
- Shell picks up little scuffs
