What I like

• Evergoods is an absolute favorite company of mine. This is their big, beefy carry-everything bag.
• The strap system lifts up off the back and spreads weight across more of your body. Nobody else is doing that.
• 35L feels right. You can get away with a lot without limiting where you can travel.
• Lighter, slicker Mountain-line fabric. Pet hair, lint and dust don't stick to it like on the Civic bags.
• Big taco quick access pocket plus a massive front pocket. A good middle ground between a pocket for every dongle and one big bucket.
• Probably the best water bottle pockets on the market. They gobble up my 32 oz bottle.
• The laptop slides in and out of its compartment super smoothly, pulled up off the bottom.
• Little details: ribbon zip pulls, a YKK #10 main zip, a loop to hold while you zip.
• The CTB40 before it had one of the most innovative harness systems I've used. It contours and moves with your back, no hip strap needed

Watch for

• I miss the chunkier feel of the Civic-line fabric a little.
