What I like
- Extremely protective. AiroFoam, a reactive impact-absorbing foam, padded into a rigid shell.
- They rounded the corners, so it doesn't look as much like a jet pack as you'd expect. Surprisingly sleek.
- Magnetic Fidlock clip on the top flap. I leave the main open like a lunch box for easy access.
- I thought it would be a drag to use. It surprised me again and again.
- Stiff padded straps, airflow on the back panel, luggage pass-through, a decent magnetic sternum strap.
- Delicious materials, inside and out. The dry outer fabric is my favorite kind of material.
- Laptop pocket is surprisingly nice because the zip goes so far down. My 16" MacBook Pro fits very nicely.
- Side bottle pocket just about fits a 32 oz bottle.
Watch for
- The quick access pocket on the back is so structured and curved that it's always a bit of a bummer to get your hand into. That was my main issue.
- The thin protective back pocket and the little key pocket are hard to get into. I never used them.
- The flap closure takes a little getting used to.
