Peak Design Outdoor Backpack 45L Review
Peak Design finally built a camera backpack I’d actually want to hike with. The new harness is dramatically more comfortable, the roll-top and rear access work beautifully together, and it’s noticeably lighter than their previous designs. INSANELY COMFORTABLE. It’s a different vibe, but if you resonate with it, commit and be done.
More on the Peak Design Outdoor Backpack 45L
What I like
- One of the most comfortable harness systems I've ever worn. The hip straps pull out or hide away
- Fits Peak's large camera cube, so it carries a lot of gear
- Soft, floppy organization, a one-handed stuff pocket and expandability: the opposite of the Everyday Backpack
- Camera clip points all over, so your camera can live on your hip or strap on the trail
- Legit lightweight outdoorsy bag. It begs to go on a journey with you
Watch for
- No on-body camera access. This is a put-it-down-to-get-in bag
- 45L is a big boy
Specs
- 45L expandable roll-top (smaller sizes available)
- 3.42 lb without hip belt, 3.97 lb with
- 210D ripstop nylon, PFAS-free TPU coating, spring steel internal frame
