What I like

• Doctor's bag opening with big metal stays. I love it every time
• Soft-sided but rigid: a metal piece curves around the top and the back panel is very hard
• Huge gusseted side pockets on both sides. My water bottle goes there
• Two chunky, durable wheels with good ground clearance
• Leather handles on both sides and big leather zipper pulls, big number 10 zipper
• About 7 lb, one of the lighter rollers I've tested
• Shimoda camera cubes fit right inside, and you can lay a laptop on top
• The roller I've used more than any other

Watch for

• Not a spinner. I'm always dragging it down the airplane aisle
• A little more trolley jiggle than others
• The side pocket zipper doesn't cover the front flap, so tuck the flap in before you zip and cinch
• Keep the zips up top or they drag; tuck the little ear under the handle in transit
