Stubble & Co Wheeled Duffel 40L Review
"Wheel or Wear"
I love this thing for its backpack straps and two-wheel adventure ready design. Soft/hard combo on design. Would love a water bottle pocket.
More on the Stubble & Co Wheeled Duffel 40L
What I like
- One of the best backpack-plus-roller hybrids I've seen. An adventure bag you can roll, then carry on cobblestones
- Two wheels, so extra durability. Big chunky wheels with bearings
- Hypalon-style rubberized, water-resistant coated material
- Low-profile trolley button and maybe a little less jiggle than normal
- Backpack straps come off; the gated G-hooks are better than usual, plus lockable hideaway clips
- Burly contoured handles on the side, top and bottom for hucking it onto a tuk tuk or a skiff
- Padded flat front pocket fits my 16in MacBook Pro
- Top quick-access pocket fits headphones or a big tech pouch; water-sealed zippers
- Crunchy ripstop liner, one strap that compresses to all four corners, sternum strap
Watch for
- The trolley intrudes inside a lot, so plan your packing around it
- Limited access into the main compartment and no visibility
- More weight and structure than a regular travel backpack
- The material is waterproof but the bag itself isn't
