Tenba Axis v2 24L Review

Legit “live/work out of this bag” capable. The multiple access points are excellent, the harness is comfortable enough for all-day shoots, and the build quality is instantly trustable. Wildly functional and one of the toughest, most capable camera backpacks in the category.

What I like
- I've lived out of this bag. Multiple points of access: a top pocket for a big lens, a side door, and full rear access
- The dividers are built into the bag and rigid, so everything feels protected
- Laptop on the front of the bag. I hadn't used that in a long time and it just worked
- Super comfortable, with a beefy back panel, a burly removable hip strap and a double sternum strap
- Rugged materials, rain fly, MOLLE, a tripod holder, and a side pocket that swallows a 32 oz bottle
- Fit under the airplane seat in front of me
Watch for
- Built-in dividers mean you can't really use it as a regular bag
- The tripod straps use gated G hooks that are fiddly and stiff to cinch
- With the laptop on the front the weight pulls outward. Keep the hip strap on when it's loaded
- Tactical look, not for everybody (I love it in MultiCam)
