Peak Design Everyday Sling (3L + 6L + 10L) Review

"Tight. Sleek. Capable."

Innovative and sleek, functional and delightful. Multiple compact sizes. Lots of thoughtful features.

  • Comfortable and sleek to use and adjust in use. Going from tight against the body to loose and easy to get into is super fast and easy.
  • Padded and protective materials, good shelter from bumps, bruises and weather.
  • Nice gussets on side allow for visibility when unzipped without contents falling out.
  • Lots of little organization inside. One zip pocket on the front (that’s kinda fiddly to get in and out of due to the lip).
  • Doable with a 13″ laptop if it’s pretty slim.
  • Great for minimal gear carry as well as gear-specific carry (e.g., photography, drone, etc.)
  • This bag is FUN! All the little interactions are well executed.

Here’s the video of the older version.

More on the Peak Design Everyday Sling (3L + 6L + 10L)

What I like

  • Classic for good reason. Still one of my favorites and I still use mine all the time.
  • My favorite sling strap. The quick-adjust latch goes from tight to loose in a second.
  • Padded, water resistant shell and water sealed zips. Your gear feels protected.
  • Peak's dividers and camera inserts are some of the best I've used. Great for camera, drone or tech kits.
  • Hidden tablet sleeve in the 10L (fits an 11in iPad Pro).
  • Elastic battery pouches up top, lash points for a tripod or jacket, and Capture clip mounts on the sides.
  • Built to last. Even if it sits in a closet for a year, there will be a day it's the perfect bag.

Watch for

  • The front zip pocket is fiddly to get into because of the weather lip.
  • The 10L needs dividers to organize the space. The 3L has side pouches the 10L doesn't.
  • Very techie look. I personally lean toward softer, waxed canvas styles.

Specs

  • 3L, 6L and 10L
  • DWR coated nylon, water sealed zips
