What I like
- A true hybrid: travel with it, pull the packing cube out, and it's a sleek day bag
- Rigid, structured build that holds its shape even empty. Durable without being a total box
- 900D recycled PET with TPU coating. Feels like it will last a very long time
- Water-resistant zips that still feel and move like regular #10 zips
- Quick access pocket with a curved lip, also reachable from inside through mesh. Shows real design chops
- Vertical luggage pass-through, chunky soft air mesh back panel, comfortable locked in with a heavy load
- Simple webbing handles. Utilitarian, rugged vibe
- Clothing section with a mesh layer, laptop pocket with tablet sleeve
Watch for
- Compression straps get in the way of the clamshell zip. I mostly use it top-loader style
- The G-hooks just flop around once they're unclipped
- 30L is tight for travel. I wish it had about 10L of expansion
- Not much room for business papers next to the laptop
