Everyman Hideout 5-way Commuter Briefcase Review

The Hideout 5-way from Everyman is an excellent tech briefcase. Solid materials handle outdoor spaces and weather well. Plenty of organization. Watch the video for my caveats on this one.

• Great ballistic nylon exterior
• Water sealed zips can be a little fiddly
• Sometimes stands up on it’s own, which is nice
• Stowable backpack straps feel poorly designed to the touch, but they do work well. I kept them stowed away the whole time.
• I used it in “landscape mode” all the time because it made access and visibility to my gear so easy.
• Love the handles.
• Quick access pockets have to be left open to make handles accessible.
• Big pocket on the front with built in dimension and no internal org. Perfect for a good pouch.
• Main compartment with hook and loop on all sides, accessories available.
• Laptop pocket with everything oriented in “portrait mode” instead of landscape. Great felt materials inside.
